I have been really busy recording a series of cover songs, mostly acoustically, which I will be releasing as videos on the JustDave YouTube Channel in the near future. Obviously I can't sell these songs without incurring a lot of unwanted attention from the rights owners but if you would like to get copies of the MP3 tracks which will be on the videos I will be making special access links available only to JustDave Mailing List subscribers as and when the songs are completed. The next mailout will be at the beginning of February and will include the link to at least one free track so get your e-mail address submitted now if you want some of this. The tracks will include my versions of songs by 'The Foo Fighters', 'Daughtry', 'Japan', 'Justin Timberlake', 'David Bowie', 'Rod Stewart' and 'Green Day' to name(drop) a few.

As previously mentioned, I am offering the full digital download of my current album "Well I Never...." for just £1GBP (approx $1.60USD). I had previously said that this offer would only be until the 10th January 2010, but due to some technical difficulties with the download page (all of my own making by the way!!!!), I am now extending the offer until the end of January 2010 - A FULL MONTH. Apologies to all the people who had problems with the early downloads after purchase but this is now fully rectified and fully operational.
I have decided to release 'Hard To Breathe' as a single early in 2010. I have chosen this song as it has already had the most chart success of all of the songs on the sites it is on at present. I will remix and slightly rework the album version to incorporate all of the positive and constructive feedback it has received in reviews etc to date to provide what I believe people feel will make it a truly great offering. I would just like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. I hope from a personal point of view that it is a big improvement on 2009 and to you all, I sincerely hope that you make progress towards getting everything you wish for and want to achieve.

My main aim over the coming months is to make some serious headway into getting my second album structured, with an aim to having it out by the end of 2010. I currently have around seven new songs underway, but at this stage that doesn't mean a lot as the last album was selected as twelve songs from over twenty. In other words it is probable that half of what I am working on now will get binned or completely reworked before any release.
A lot of work to do then.....
As I have mentioned before, I am planning to release the songs when they are available as good quality demo's, as 3 track downloads (EP format) with one free song from each EP release and a very cheap price on the EP overall so you can all see where it is heading.
